ForwardMedical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE): Clinical Pharmacy Course
Program Description
This course is an agenda-driven course based upon current Department of Defense and Army Clinical Pharmacy practice as established by the U.S. Army Pharmacy Consultant. The Clinical Pharmacy Course focuses on the Pharmacist-Patient role in the Medical Home, Warrior Transition, Pain Management, Deployment Medicine, and other Specialty Clinics. Students will gain understanding of appointment coding, productivity, schedule management, AHLTA Pharmacy Note, Interventions, Specialty Pharmacy, eProfiles, IT clinical systems, clinical reports, conversions to formulary medication, and opioid reduction strategies.

Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
