Program Description: Course Description Winn Army Community Hospital is increasing the facility's scope of practice for LPNs to include intravenous push medications. To ensure safe practice, hospital education will provide an 8 hour training course for all LPNs prior to live implementation. The course will include safe medication administration, a pharmacy review of medications that will be administered, aseptic technique and intravenous complications.
