Program Description

Telemental health, which involves the delivery of mental health services via telecommunication technologies, has emerged as a significant pioneering development in modern mental health. This course will examine three significant advantages of implementing technology-assisted media in providing therapeutic services. Some benefits entail improved accessibility, which enables individuals to obtain mental health assistance from a distance, expanded schedule flexibility for consultations, and the possibility of financial savings for providers and clients. By adopting telemental health, professionals can expand their services to marginalized communities and adjust to the evolving mental healthcare environment.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, psychologists, social workers and certified counselors. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
