Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, psychologists, social workers, optometrists, kinesiotherapists, case managers, and healthcare executives. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify ways in which menstrual suppression can be adversely impacted during deployment. 
  2. Analyze the benefits of menstrual suppression for deploying Soldiers.
  3. Recognize methods of reducing the incidences of genital-urinary tract infections in deployed women.
  4. List health maintenance measures that should be undertaken for deploying women.
