73rd Annual 38th Parallel Healthcare Training Symposium
Program Description
This symposium provides an opportunity for United States Forces-Korea service members and civilians to build and strengthen relationships with host nation and regional partners. Additionally, the symposium serves as a forum for healthcare professionals to earn Continuing Education credits while taking part in valuable professional development.
This year’s theme, “Battlefield of the Future”, focuses on innovations in healthcare concepts, procedures and equipment, their application in the Army of 2025 and the Army of 2030, and how they will impact healthcare support on the Korean peninsula.
Our goal is to ensure we have trained and ready U.S. medical professionals in South Korea who sustain a ready, medically deployable military force and who provide quality healthcare to family members and beneficiaries daily. We support this aim by providing high quality continuing education and by strengthening our bonds with our Republic of Korea medical partners.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, PA’s, pharmacists, pharm tech, optometrist, physical therapy, athletic trainers, and dietitians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
