Dizziness and visual disturbances commonly occur after concussion or mild traumatic brain injury. Often, post-concussive dizziness and visual disturbances will present with overlapping symptoms and should prompt providers to perform a focused assessment for both concerns when treating patients with TBI. This training will review commonly encountered mTBI associated dizziness and visual disturbances, preferred treatment options, and specialty referral considerations.

The MACE 2 is a multimodal tool developed to standardize the initial evaluation of concussion. The Prevention and Management of Disruptive Behavior-Military (PMDB-M) program is the approved training program in preparing staff to manage verbal and non-verbal conflict within Winn-ACH and all DHA MTFs.
