Program Description: This will be the third event of the LTC Juanita Warman Quarterly Nursing Grand Rounds. This event started as a Unit Practice Council initiative and was initially conducted as an annual conference. The decision to move from a one-day conference to quarterly grand rounds was made to meet the needs of the organization. The planning committee of the grand rounds seek to bring speakers of various expertise to help provide a diverse educational experience. We will have two speakers at this offering.

Program Description: Military Treatment Facility clinic-level staff responsible for overall clinic operations and management, especially Primary Care, PCMH clinics. Program Description: The DHA Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) Competency Training is conducted for new DHA hires (psychologists, social workers, LPCs) working as BHCs in primary care. The training aims to familiarize new trainees with the PCBH model of care delivery that is used in primary care clinics. The training will have didactic components as well as the use of role plays and experiential activities to familiarize trainees with the unique skills required to function optimally as a BHC.

Program Description: This training is intended for mental health providers across the DAF. However, all DoD mental health providers are welcome to attend, as sister agency mental health providers can tailor to their operations. Its purpose is to provide foundational training in behavioral threat assessment, recognized by the APA in 2013 as the gold standard of assessing threat cases. This training will bridge the gap between threatening individuals and what mental health providers can do to mitigate varying levels of threat concerns.
