U.S.-Philippines Military Dentistry Exchange

May 19, 2025 to May 20, 2025

Program Description

Expeditionary dentistry poses unique challenges, including working in remote environments, limited support, and the need for creative thinking. The U.S. military is well prepared to forward deploy dental personnel to meet the needs of operations, however each service has unique capabilities and challenges that should be shared across the services. The Armed Forces Philippines face many of these challenges domestically in their archipelago nation. The focus of this military dentistry exchange is to define expeditionary dentistry requirements and capabilities, discuss challenges and share best practices to improve dental readiness.
