Improving Nurse Readiness for Combat Casualty Care

Program Description

Nurse preparation for deployment is an important consideration for the effective provision of combat casualty care to achieve optimal patient outcomes in the Multi-Domain environment. At the US Army Institute of Surgical Research, nurse scientists and collaborators have worked over several years to inform nurse leaders and medical planners about the individual clinical readiness needs for nurses and others assigned to combat casualty care roles.
