Program Description

Competitively selective physicians and advanced practice nurses will review elements of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS) and deployed medicine topics of traumatic brain injury, emerging infectious diseases and austere medical care. Participants will also learn and apply student assessment strategies to be used during USU's Operation Bushmaster field practicum. Participants will watch videos and review medical care asynchronously, then join a 4 hour virtual session to apply their knowledge.
