This event explores the fundamental best practices and advanced methodologies in project management specifically tailored for the DHA. The educational content is created by Subject Matter Experts and PMP Certified Professionals with extensive experience in defense health administration and strategic operations. The primary focus of this event aims to enhance organizational efficiency and mission success by providing advanced continuing education opportunities to improve the practice, skills, and strategic leadership of certified project management professionals and health care leaders across the MHS.

 

Target Audience

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of DHA Project Managers, Project Management Professionals (PMP) Certified Professionals, Healthcare Executives, Physicians, Nurses, Pharmacists, Physician Associates/Physician Assistants, Social Workers, Psychologists, and Dentists across the MHS.

  1. Explain how the five Project Management phases integrate with modern, value-drive principles.
  2. Apply best practices to drafta foundational Project Charter.
  3. Evaluate project health beyond schedule and budget to ensure alignment with DHA strategic objectives.
