Jeffrey Matney, MS, PMP, CCMP

Jeff Matney is a strategic and results-driven leader with over two decades of experience leading teams and driving organizational change within the Military Health System. He has managed complex projects and portfolios since 2009, translating strategic objectives into measurable results.
Currently, Jeff serves as a Strategic Plan Portfolio Manager for the Defense Health Agency (DHA), where he provides oversight for a diverse portfolio of Healthcare Delivery initiatives supporting 9.5 million beneficiaries. In this role, he leads and coaches multi-disciplinary teams through strategy execution, applying a robust project management framework to drive enterprise-wide impact and ensure alignment with DHA’s strategic priorities.
A passionate advocate for leadership development, Jeff is also a Major in the U.S. Army Reserve, currently serving as an instructor for the Captains Career Cour0se at the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence. He holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Management, and his key certifications include the Project Management Professional (PMP)®, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP)™, and Prosci Certified Change Practitioner®.
