2026 Department of Air Force Family Advocacy Program Assistants and New Parent Support Program Conference
This live event is intended for active duty military, civilian and contractor personnel within the healthcare profession serving military families participating in the Family Advocacy Program. This conference serves as a crucial platform for educating and equipping Family Advocacy Nurse, clinical and administrative professionals to effectively prevent and respond to child abuse, neglect and domestic abuse within the Air Force community. The primary goals of this nursing conference are multifaceted, aiming to enhance the knowledge and skills of attendees.
This conference fosters collaboration between different subject matter experts from the Department of War, Military Community Advocacy and other related entities, with the goal to create a more coordinated and effective response to domestic abuse, child abuse and neglect. This training opportunity is essential for ensuring that nurses, clinicians and other advocacy professionals have the knowledge and skills needed to effectively support survivors of domestic violence and contribute to the prevention of this public health issue.
