Program DescriptionThis activity is a skills training for clinicians involved in amputation and limb trauma care. This would include both the surgical specialties as well as the rehab clinicians. Morning didactic presentations will be reinforced by afternoon skills training in the anatomic teaching lab. Program Description: Traumatic brain injury can cause a variety of physical, psychological, and cognitive symptoms. Of reported post-concussive symptoms, headache is the most common and persistent. This activity, hosted by the Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence, will improve knowledge and awareness of post traumatic headaches, recommended treatment strategies, and available resources.
