Program DescriptionAnomalous Health Incident (AHI) Acute Assessment (Defense Health Agency (DHA) Form 244), is a multi-domain assessment that should be used to evaluate patients for potential AHI. This training will introduce learners to AHI and review assessment and recommended treatment strategies. Dizziness and visual disturbances commonly occur after concussion or mild traumatic brain injury. Often, post-concussive dizziness and visual disturbances will present with overlapping symptoms and should prompt providers to perform a focused assessment for both concerns when treating patients with TBI. This training will review commonly encountered mTBI associated dizziness and visual disturbances, preferred treatment options, and specialty referral considerations.
