Program DescriptionThis live, in-person and virtual event will focus on the best practices for prescribing insulin syringes and pen needles, specifically examining factors that influence needle length choice and the implications for patient care. The purpose of this course is to enhance outpatient pharmacist and technician understanding and application of these practices among healthcare providers, thereby improving patient outcomes and reducing the risk of complications related to improper insulin delivery techniques.
