Program Description
This is a live learning opportunity for medical providers presented for Grand Rounds at the Patriot Auditorium at Winn Army Community Hospital, Fort Stewart GA.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, registered dieticians, dietetic technicians and certified counselors. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
Learning Objectives
- Define compassion fatigue and related challenging reactions to our work.
- Destigmatize the experience of compassion fatigue among helpers.
- Recognize risk factors for compassion fatigue among providers.
- Discuss strategies to increase resilience, connection, and well being when working in a military treatment facility (MTF).
