Virtual Health Care Ethics Symposium, 29-30 APR 2021
Program Description
This activity is a two day virtual conference focusing upon the ethical aspects of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. An internationally renowned faculty has been compiled and will focus on various ethical aspects of the pandemic, to include: principles of triage/resource allocation, moral injury, moral distress and resiliency, health disparities, practical guidance for bedside clinicians, and the conducting of research during rapidly evolving periods of therapeutic equipoise.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, optometrists, social workers, psychologists, dentists, dental hygienists, dental technicians, registered dieticians, dietetic technicians, occupational therapists, certified counselors, kinesiotherapists, case managers, healthcare executives, audiologists, and speech language pathologists. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
