Program Description

This is the monthly Vision Center of Excellence Ocular Trauma and Vision Readiness Video TeleConference. This conference discusses ocular trauma cases and vision readiness topics from around the Department of Defense, Defense Health Agency, and U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses and optometrists. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Review case report of Active-duty Service member with post-concussion syndrome symptoms
  2. Describe common post-concussion symptoms
  3. Discuss tint evaluation for post-concussion light sensitivity
  4. Review use of specialty contact lenses for glare, haloes, and diplopia
