Learning Objectives

  1. Identify limitations for prosthetic use among those with limb loss. 
  2. Compare potential cell therapy options. 
  3. Evaluate early data on cell therapy efficacy. 
  4. Summarize the issues of management of acute, subacute and chronic lower extremity injuries. 
  5. Explain the role of Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) in lower extremity injuries. 
  6. Describe the current evidence for optimal timing of lower limb reconstruction.
