ForwardHCE: CAOHC Professional Supervisor Certification
Program Description:
To assist audiologists (Au. D., CCC-A, ABA, F-AAA, or M.S.), otolaryngologists, and other physicians (MD, DO) in meeting OSHA regulations, Council for Accreditation on Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) created coursework which can lead to the designation known as the Professional Supervisor of the Audiometric Monitoring Program© (PS). The PS plays a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of a hearing conservation program. The PS works in conjunction with other professionals, including nurses, occupational hearing conservationists (OHCs), industrial hygienists, safety professionals, employers, employees, and their representatives. They are responsible for reviewing problem audiograms and determining whether there is a need for further evaluation. This course includes on-demand pre-course work and a live, virtual workshop that will take place 18 Sept 2024 from 0800 - 1700 EST.
Target Audience
