John Foster, BSC, CCC-A
Lt Col. Foster has been an Air Force Audiologist for over 13 years. He completed a clinical residency year at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland Air Force Base (AFB), San Antonio, Texas. Since then, he has served as an Air Force Audiologist with duty assignments at Lackland AFB, TX, RAF Lakenheath, UK, Hill AFB, UT, Director of Operations, 348thRecruiting Squadron, Clearfield, UT, Flight Commander, Educational & Developmental Intervention Services, 52ndHealth Care Operations Squadron, Spangdahlem, AB, Germany. His deployed humanitarian mission experience includes acting as lead Audiologist on medical readiness missions to Guyana, Panama, Dominican Republic and Costa Rica.
Lt Col. Foster graduated with his Doctor of Audiology (AuD) from Utah State University in May 2009 and a Master of Public Health from the University of Hawaii in May 2023. He is a certified CAOHC Course Director and Certified Professional Supervisor. He also holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Utah as well as Utah State University. Lt Col. Foster represents the Military Audiology Association on the CAOHC Council.
