  1. Discuss how to code for face-to-face and non-face-to-face time when documenting patient care activities
  2. Explain the importance of medical record documentation.
  3. Contrast the difference between new and established patients as it relates to selecting the appropriate current procedural terminology code.
  4. Identify diagnostic codes, evaluation and management codes, and procedural codes that are most appropriate for clinical pharmacy documentation of care for medication therapy management and Prolonged Services.

Understanding & Standardizing DoD Ambulatory Clinical Pharm Coding, Pt 2

  1. Explain the current scenarios involved in Virtual Health Coding.
  2. Explain the documentation of late entries in the medical record.
  3. Describe clinical pharmacy documentation of care for complex patient cases.
  4. Critique a case demonstrating the impact of multiple procedure codes occurring during a singular visit.
  5. Name additional resources that may be referenced when coding patient encounters.
