2025 DHA Clinical Pharmacy Course – Enduring
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Pharmacy Operations Division (POD) Clinical Pharmacy Course (CPC) is an agenda-driven course based upon current DHA Clinical Pharmacy practice. The goal of the CPC is to provide a standardized approach to managing Clinical Pharmacy practice in the DHA setting where Clinical Pharmacist Practitioners and Clinical Pharmacy Technicians work as a team to screen, examine, and treat patients. The CPC instructors have both general knowledge as well as practical experience with clinical pharmacy within the DHA. The CPC focuses on the Pharmacist-Patient relationship in the Medical Home, Transitions of Care, Pain Management, Pharmacogenomics, and other Sub-Specialties. Participants will gain an understanding of appointment coding, productivity, schedule management, MHS Genesis pharmacy notes, interventions, clinical reports, conversions to formulary medication, and opioid reduction strategies.
