
CCSS: Evidence-Based Approaches for Advancing Excellence in Primary Care
Health experts highlight innovative strategies and uncover important issues affecting primary care for military and veteran populations.
The Clinical Communities Speaker Series aims to advance the skills, strategies, and competence of healthcare providers and teams across the military health system. Virtual presentations draw on military and civilian experts from academia, government, and clinical care settings to address professional practice gaps among a wide range of healthcare professions. By focusing on clinical best practices, interprofessional learning, and military readiness, participants are empowered to optimize health outcomes for uniformed service members and their families through better individual and collaborative care practices.
Target Audience
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of athletic trainers, audiologists,1 case managers, dental hygienists, dental technicians, dentists, dieticians, kinesiotherapists, nurses, occupational therapists, optometrists, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, physician associates/physician assistants, physicians, psychologists,2 social workers,2 and speech language pathologists1 who care for veterans, service members, and service member families.

In support of improving patient care, the DHA, J-7, CEPO is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the health care team. This activity was planned by and for the health care team, and learners will receive a maximum of 6.00 Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) credit for learning and change.
- Case Managers (CCMC)
