Program Description

The Lifestyle & Performance Medicine Summit will provide Lifestyle Medicine foundational education, implementation tools & resources, and networking opportunities for individuals in pursuit of using Lifestyle Medicine skills for the prevention, treatment and reversal of non-infectious chronic disease and military performance optimization. The Summit will deliver key information showing the critical need for the Lifestyle Medicine skill set to operationalize Total Force Fitness, improve military readiness, foster enhanced capabilities for Warfighters to prepare for the Great Power Competition and advance national security. The Summit will take place in person at Defense Health Headquarters, Falls Church, VA, but will also offer a virtual attendance option. Healthcare professionals, MTF and human performance staff, and leaders across the Military Health System are encouraged to attend.
