CDR Kristi Wood is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist (OB/GYN) currently serving as the Chief of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, in Fort Belvoir, VA. In 2010, she completed her residency in OB/GYN at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, located in Portsmouth, VA. Since then she has had the opportunity to serve at the United States Navy Hospital (USNH) Guantanamo Bay, and to deploy on the Continuing Promise 2017, a training mission to help strengthen regional partnerships while improving the lives of thousands in Guatemala, Honduras and Columbia.
