Anita Lyons, EdD, PMP

Dr. Lyons, a retired Air Force Veteran, holds a Master’s of Healthcare Administration and a Doctorate of Education with a focus on Educational Leadership from Liberty University.
In her current role, Dr. Lyons oversees the joint development and sustainment of the Department of War medical training initiatives and academic policy, leading 509 staff across two regions with an annual operating budget of $61.5 million. She is directly responsible for the three medical training institutes that graduate over 28,000 enlisted medical personnel annually and provide combat trauma and joint medical operations training to over 260K DoD personnel. Additionally, Dr Lyons stood up and directs the Clinical Training Program (Phase II) Operational Management Office that is charged with assessing risks and issues associated 28 force generating programs operating across the Military Health System.
