The Traumatic Event Management (TEM) Facilitator course is designed to train TEM facilitators, primarily targeting mental health providers and unit ministry teams, on providing traumatic event management to units that are exposed to potentially traumatic events (i.e., death of a unit member, witness to civilian mass casualty, etc.). The course covers supporting individuals, supporting groups, making referrals, applying prevention measures, and conducting needs assessments after a potentially traumatic event. This course allows ample opportunities for students to practice the new skills learned during the course.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, physician associates/physician assistants, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, and certified counselors. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

How to claim CE/CME credit
Credits are awarded by session. Enter the access code, then proceed to enroll in the event. Once enrolled, click on a session you attended and proceed to take the evaluation and posttest to claim your certificate for that session. Repeat for each session that you attended. You have until Dec 31, 2026 to claim credit.
