MAJ Rodriguez has served in the U.S. Army for 24 years. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico and a Master’s degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. MAJ Rodriguez went on to earn a Doctorate Degree in Nursing Practice from the University of Alabama. MAJ Rodriguez is a board-certified Acute Care and Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist with a focus on perioperative nursing and a Certified Operating Room Registered Nurse. MAJ Rodriguez is an Assistant Professor and Deputy Director of the Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist Program at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He is also the Deputy Perioperative Consultant to the Army Surgeon General.
