Womack Pharmacy: Equine Assisted Services and the Benefits to Life’s Challenges
This activity is a part of the Womack Army Medical Center Pharmacy Monthly Training Series. This iteration will discuss equine assisted services and highlight its benefits to addressing life challenges.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians across the Military Health System (MHS). A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
Learning Objectives
- Define equine assisted services.
- Describe the reasons horses are ideal for learning.
- Identify different types of equine assisted services.
- Outline the benefits of equine assisted services.
