Program Description

This activity is a part of the Womack Army Medical Center Pharmacy Monthly Trainings. This iteration will review complications associated with cocaine use.

Target Audience

This CE/CME activity is accredited by the DHA, J-7, Continuing Education Program Office (CEPO). This activity provides continuing education for pharmacists and pharmacy technician.  A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Distinguish the mechanism(s) of action of various recreational stimulant substances.
  2. Describe both short- and long-term effects of recreational cocaine use.
  3. Identify differences in Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) medication management when comparing traditional and Cocaine-associated presentations.
