Program Description:
This activity is a part of the Womack Army Medical Center Pharmacy Monthly Training Series. This iteration discusses recommendations for the management of prediabetes.

This CE/CME activity is accredited by the DHA, J-7, Continuing Education Program Office (CEPO). This activity provides continuing education for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

- Summarize guidelines for prediabetes management.
- Compare the US National Diabetes Prevention Program to guideline recommendations.
- Identify appropriate patients for treatment with metformin.
- Evaluate the use of antidiabetic medications based on recent literature.
- Develop a plan for the management of prediabetes.
