Program Description
This activity is a part of the Womack Army Medical Center Pharmacy Monthly Trainings. This iteration will review motivational interviewing in pharmacy practice.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for pharmacists and pharmacy technician. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

- Outline the components of motivational interviewing.
- Match clinical examples of motivational interviewing to the appropriate definitions of the motivational interviewing model.
- Analyze the motivational interviewing model.
- Evaluate the value of utilizing motivational interviewing in pharmacy practice with primary literature.
- Use the motivational interviewing model when applicable in pharmacy practice.
