Womack Pharm: The Joint Commission
This activity is a part of the Womack Army Medical Center Pharmacy Monthly Training Series. This iteration will analyze the Joint Commission’s role, policies, upcoming changes, and application of medication management standards.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

- Summarize the role of The Joint Commission.
- Explain how current policy supports Joint Commission readiness.
- Demonstrate application of medication management standards to daily tasks.
- Assess compliance with medication management standards throughout the organization.
- Recognize upcoming changes to The Joint Commission.
