Program Description
This activity is a part of the Womack Army Medical Center Pharmacy Monthly Trainings. This iteration will review Heparin-Induced Thrombocytopenia.

Learning Objectives
- Explain the pathophysiology of Heparin Induced Thrombocytopenia.
- Describe the clinical presentation and potential complications of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT).
- Analyze the patient case using 4T scoring tool.
- Review recommended treatment of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia.
