Womack Pharm: Approach to Preventive Treatment of Chronic Migraine

Program Description: 

This activity is a part of the Womack Army Medical Center Pharmacy Monthly Training Series. This iteration will discuss preventive treatment of chronic Migraine.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Distinguish chronic migraine from other migraine manifestations.
  2. Describe risk factors for progression to chronic migraine.
  3. Compare evidence-based preventive therapies for chronic migraine.
  4. Design treatment plans for patients with chronic migraine.
