Program Description

This activity is a part of the Womack Army Medical Center Pharmacy Monthly Trainings. This iteration will review Mineral Disorders in Chronic Kidney Disease.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for pharmacists and pharmacy technician.  A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Describe mineral disorders in CKD –MBD.
  2. Outline the correlation between mineral abnormalities in CKD.
  3. Explain the importance of CKD-MBD in CVD progression. 
  4. Summarize the recommendations for the management of mineral disorders in CKD –MBD.
