Program Description

This activity is a part of the Womack Army Medical Center Pharmacy Monthly Trainings. This iteration will review updated guidance in dosing and monitoring regimens.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Discuss recent guideline changes to vancomycin dosing/monitoring.
  2. Critique inpatient order for appropriateness.
  3. Design and redesign noncomplex dosing regimens.
  4. Organize a reasonable monitoring plan.
