Program Description
This activity is a part of the Womack Army Medical Center Pharmacy Monthly Trainings. This iteration will review inpatient hyperglycemia management.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
Learning Objectives
- Identify appropriate target blood glucose (BG) ranges based on patient specific factors.
- Apply guideline recommendations to treat hyperglycemia in hospitalized patients.
- Create a treatment plan for a patient experiencing hypoglycemia.
