Program Description
This activity is a part of the Womack Army Medical Center Pharmacy Monthly Trainings. This iteration will review cannabidiol and the endocannabinoid system.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
Learning Objectives
- Explain the purpose of the Endocannabinoid System.
- Outline the differences of the CB1 and CB2 receptor.
- Define the Army’s policy on the use of CBD.
- Differentiate between CBD and THC.
- Summarize the evidence for the use of CBD.
- Recognize drug-drug interactions with CBD.
