Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for MHS physicians, nurses, physician associates/physician assistants, dentists, dental hygienists, and dental technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

- Critically evaluate emerging evidence linking periodontitis to systemic disease
- Explain inflammatory and microbial mechanisms
- Interpret interventional data (HbA1c, CRP, CVD risk)
- Integrate periodontal considerations into interdisciplinary care
