Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, and physician assistant. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Describe what integrative medicine is and learn how to provide an optimal integrative plan of care.
  2. Review opportunities in integrating traditional and complementary care in chronic pain.
  3. Assess a presentation of chronic low back pain and fibromyalgia and apply evidence based integrative care in treating the patient.
  4. Describe anatomy of the shoulder and principles of rehabilitation.
  5. Outline the phases of rehabilitation when addressing shoulder injuries.
