VCE: Frequency of Oculomotor Dysfunction in Symptomatic Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (FOCUS mTBI): Principal Investigator Certification and Training Course
Program Description:
This course is intended to provide certification and training for Principal Investigators of an upcoming study on Traumatic Brain Injury Vision Dysfunction. The study will take place in a variety of military treatment facilities on patients that have experienced a TBI in the past 12 months. The goal of the study is to answer the question...Is the frequency and type of oculomotor dysfunction in adult military members symptomatic from a recent m TBI (30-180 days post-injury) greater than the frequency of oculomotor dysfunction in a control population without a recent (within 12 months) history of mTBI? This will be done in the clinic with specific optometric vision dysfunction testing.
