VCE: DHA US1165 Vision Dysfunction following Traumatic Brain Injury Training for Eye Care Providers 2026 - 2027

This training will provide education to eye care providers on the identification and management of vision dysfunction following traumatic brain injury. Topics will include neuroanatomy, assessment, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation strategies, and additional tools/resources for providers within the Department of Defense. The activity is brought to you by the Vision Center of Excellence.

Requirement

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians and optometrists across the Military Health System (MHS). A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

  2. Outline the initial assessment and evaluation techniques for TBI associated vision dysfunction.
  3. Summarize the underlying anatomy and causes of TBI associated vision dysfunction.
  4. Review how to refer patients for additional evaluations, care, and treatment strategies.
