Program Description

This is the monthly Vision Center of Excellence Ocular Trauma and Vision Readiness Video TeleConference (VCE OTVR VTC). This conference discusses ocular trauma cases and vision readiness topics from around the Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Health Agency (DHA), and U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, and optometrists. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Explain the common symptoms of heterophoria in TBI
  2. Examine the conceptual model of optometric vision care in TBI
  3. Review the pathophysiology of heterophoria in TBI
  4. Discuss proper evaluation and treatment of optometric vision care in TBI
  5. Review a case report
