Utilizing Biofeedback for Stress Management
Program Description
The “Utilizing Biofeedback for Stress Management” CE activity is a live in person educational session geared to highlight the importance of Breathing Techniques for Stress Management. This activity will include both a didactic presentation and participant practice exercises.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, physician assistants, occupational therapists, and physical therapists. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
Learning Objectives
- Establish understanding of the purpose of stress.
- Recognize the impact of stress on brain and body.
- Define diaphragmatic breathing.
- Identify benefits of controlled breathing techniques.
- Demonstrate understanding of breathing techniques.
