Program Description

The “Utilizing Biofeedback for Stress Management” CE activity is a live in person educational session geared to highlight the importance of Breathing Techniques for Stress Management. This activity will include both a didactic presentation and participant practice exercises.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, physician assistants, occupational therapists, and physical therapists. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

  1. Establish understanding of the purpose of stress.
  2. Recognize the impact of stress on brain and body.
  3. Define diaphragmatic breathing.
  4. Identify benefits of controlled breathing techniques.
  5. Demonstrate understanding of breathing techniques.
