Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, dentists, dental hygienists, dental technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Construct trainee education to appeal to current GenZ preferences in educational formats.
  2. Understand the development and execution of a small group teaching exercise on COVID-19 for pre-clerkship medical students.
  3. Describe how use of technology from the beginning of the residency through a comprehensive diagnostic and treatment planning program has equipped residents for better clinical care and more predictable outcomes with shorter treatment times as compared to previous methods
  4. Describe the history of how medical ethics has developed throughout the years at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
  5. Discuss an innovative approach to interdisciplinary prolonged casualty care.
  6. Summarize literature that helps explain why a presentation and its reception differs based on gender.
  7. Differentiate between the forms of health information exchange and appropriate use of each form.
  8. Explain the foundations of interprofessional education (IPE), which includes different health professions learning with, about, and from each other in didactic and small group sessions.
  9. Summarize the Operation Thunderbird Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Planning Activity (OTTPA).
