USP 797: Inpatient Pharmacy Calculations

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

  1. Describe the Metric System.
  2. Define the 5 calculation methods of ratio and proportion, dilution, allgation, patient-specific dosing, and IV flow rates.
  3. Solve math problems for each of the 5 calculation methods.
