TSOTSL: Ocular Telehealth
Program Description:
This conference session will address when telehealth consultations should be pursued, and what resources are available and DHA-approved.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for optometrists. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees .
Learning Objectives
- Recognize situations and cases when initiating a telehealth consult would be beneficial to the patient and their care
- Locate and utilize DHA-approved telehealth resources, software, and mobile apps
- Demonstrate professionalism and clear communication to both patients and consulting providers while utilizing telehealth platforms
